Hand-thrown, trimmed, and glazed by Boulder, CO potter and equine masseuse Adalyn Fyhrie. These mugs are eco-friendly, made out of recycled materials and fired in energy efficient kilns. The clay and glaze are both made up of leftover and second-use materials from other pottery projects all mixed together to make a unique clay and glaze. They are fired at the lowest possible temperature to result in durable ceramics, meaning they use the minimum amount of energy needed to produce beautiful and robust pieces.
The life of all handmade ceramics are extended with hand washing. Dishwashers are an intense thermal environment which causes all ceramics to expand and contract, increasing stresses and potential for early glaze crackling. While you can put these in the dishwasher, we recommend hand washing for longevity. Microwave safe.
